Childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood offer many challenges. Sometimes, it may feel impossible to control your thoughts, emotions, and perhaps even your actions. Some days, it may be hard to get out of bed and do something, anything, that you would normally do. Sometimes, thoughts -and maybe emotions, too - ping so fast that it's hard to catch one. If any of this is familiar and you want to have more control: it's possible. The catch: you have to be willing to try out a few new ideas until you find the ones you like best. I've teamed up with many people over the years who are concerned about how their life is going. I start by learning what matters to you, what you want to be different in your life, and ask you to think about what "a little bit better" might look and feel like. Then, we work together to create a path in that direction. If you're a parent or caregiver, thank you for considering me as a supportive person for your family. I've been partnering with individuals and families since 2009, starting as a "BHP" and currently as a clinical therapist. I use a combination of conversation, games, creative activities, and play therapy depending on the person's needs, abilities, and interests.
